Lady Temair Donningen Donnchada

Lady Temair is the eldest daughter of Donnchad, a 10th century Irish merchant who raised his two daughters to think like sons with the manners of ladies. In order to facilitate business with the Vikings who founded and traded in Dyflin, Donnchad encouraged his daughters to marry Norsemen.

In the Society for Creative Anachronism, Lady Temair is a native Meridian and a resident of the Shire of Stags Gate (formerly the Shire of Dragonfly Marsh). She has been in the Society since 1991, and received an Award of Arms from Their Royal Majesties Arton & Hanna in 2003. Her “hobbies-within-a-hobby” include scroll painting, banner making, and garb making. She has served as shire Herald, and has field heraldry experience.

Mundanely, Sandie Pitts lives in Cecil, Georgia with her charming, talented husband David (Ld Bjorn) (no, we didn’t write each other’s bios!), their two smug cats. She is a computer drafter & general factotum for a land surveying company.
